Browser web socket issues

Hello, I used the web service for wedding planning https://planning.wedding, this service works well from my cellphone. But when I was trying to use it on my desktop, every time when I connect to my wedding project, the website shows the message:

*"The connection WSS with the server was lost. Refresh the page!".*This message in the loop every 15 seconds.

First, I wrote to the support of this service to check what can be wrong.

They are responding that "It might be an issue with your WebSockets in the browser. Please check your firewall. You need to be sure that port 443 is open."

Right now, I am trying to figure out, where is this firewall. In the browser or in the operating system? How to check it?

Also, I noticed that on another laptop with browser Safari, this site also works well.

If someone faced this issue before, please let me know how I can fix this.

Thank you!

Thank you Adam. Your answer was super useful!

Yes, the issue was with the firewall, I found this port in the settings, and now it fixed and worked well.

Hello my name is Adam and I am a Microsoft user like you and an Independent Advisor. I am very happy to help you with your problem.

This is how you open ports in the Windows 10 Firewall.

If you connect through a router there is a chance you have a hardware firewall. I would need to know your router make/model of the router, if you own the router or if it is leased from your isp.

Please let me know if changing the windows settings didn't help.

    Adam
