Microsoft, and especially the team responsible for Microsoft Edge, will listen if you speak politely and in the right ear. These forums are largely manned by volunteers who try to help other users.
If ever there is something about Edge that you don't like or that isn't working as you'd expect it to, or if you have a suggestion for improving it, please use the feedback option within the browser to record it. It's unlikely that anyone from the Edge team will see posts in this forum.
To submit feedback, click the ⋯ icon labelled Settings and more at the right-hand end of the address bar, then select Help and feedback > Send feedback. Another way is simply to press Alt-Shift-i to open the Send feedback dialogue. Give your feedback a clear title in the first line to make it easier for the product team to identify and classify it, and give as many details as you can. You can include a screenshot to illustrate your text, and you can elect to include diagnostic data so the engineers can work out what was going on in the background when something went wrong. If you give an email address, you'll receive an acknowledgement and possibly some follow-up questions.
