location of address bar in Edge

Something changed about how my window looks and I have no idea why it happened or how to fix it. The tabs and the address bar used to be next to each other. Now there is a space between them. If a tab is active, I see a miniature of that window; otherwise I see a blurred version of my desktop.

    Hello daisy46,

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I understand you have a problem with Edge address bar. When is the last time its working fine?

Did you made any changes recently? Is this a new Edge or the old one? Can you take a screenshot and post on your next reply.

On the miniature tab click the arrow next to the + sign. Please refer to the attached image.

    If it doesn't work

Make sure to backup your Favorites first.

Open Microsoft Edge, Click the 3 dots (...)

Select Settings then on the left side Click Reset Settings

Restore settings to their default values, Click Reset

Press Start then search Apps and Features

    search for Microsoft Edge

If old Microsoft Edge click Advance options then choose Repair or Reset

If New Edge click Uninstall then Reinstall again by downloading the installer

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further concerns.

    Sincerely

    John DeV
