Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I just updated to the new version of Edge and there is no longer an option to set tabs aside. Can I get this back? I used it extensively on the old version and it would be a major downside for me if it were no longer available.

I was about to try out the new edge because I miss the set-aside tabs feature. This feature was great for research because I could set aside tabs for different projects or different subjects within a project. This was the only reason I was going to use it. The reason I stopped using edge in the first place was the inconsistent interface with my password program. I am sorry Microsoft but are slowly losing touch with consumers. It began when android came on the scene.
Oh man, this was the only reason I preferred old Edge over the rest of browsers.
You can pin the tabs by clicking the same in the tab bar so that it opens every time you open a session.
Hi Sumit,
This works well. Thanks.
What I have done is to create a new folder, called TABS SET ASIDE, and saved to the Favorites bar. I did this by right-clicking onto the open tab name and choosing to Add all tabs to favorites Ctrl+Shift+D.
Cool.

Yes, set aside tabs feature is not available in the newer version of MS Edge. It is apparently in discussion right now:
Bring the tab set aside feature from the current version of Microsoft Edge

You can pin the tabs by clicking the same in the tab bar so that it opens every time you open a session. Also, a new feature called Collections is on the way if that helps somewhat.

I hope that helps.
