    Hello Khushal,

My Name is Paul one of the Community Advisor and a Microsoft Consumer like you. In regards of the inquiry of the difference between MS EDGE and IE. The most Noticeable changes are.

    * Microsoft Edge is considered to be a more modern browser with a cleaner look. Like its competitors Mozila and Chrome.

    * Edge is designed to work with the most current web standards like HTML 5.

    * It will be able to run extensions. Extensions are smaller programs that run inside browsers.

    * Edge is faster to load because it uses a different rendering engine.

    * It’s safer than Internet Explorer. Support for Active X plug-ins has been removed and there is better overall security to prevent attacks.

The only reason why IE is still around is because of mostly Enterprise Application's who are still using old scripts to run their website's and application's that requires a certain older Java Scripts.

if you have additional questions please let me know and I will reply back as soon as I can.

Here's a thread as well comparing EDGE to IE:

Well, I will follow through with giving you my answer in addition to the one already here.

Main difference?  Edge we use, IE we don't 😂😉

They are built on two completely different platforms.

Edge is contemporary, IE is obsolete.  The other fellow is quite right.  IE is only still (sort of) around for the sake of some Enterprise customers & legacy software they may have; other than that, now, IE is to be forgotten & ignored.

Edge has more & better Features.
    Edge is far more secure
    Edge is easier to use.
The performance with Edge is light-years ahead of IE.

And, lastly, Edge is the default web browser in Windows 10.  IE is 'history' as the saying goes.

    Cheers,
    Drew
