How do I disable automatic HTTPS redirection as a global policy in Edge?

Hi,

I am a web developer, and I am currently using Edge as my main browser of choice. I noticed, that recently Edge auto redirects me to the https protocol even if I specify that a site has to be opened in http. I want to ask for help in killing this feature for good, and permanently.

I can not access one of my projects, as it REQUIRES http protocol, and it will always redirect to a http welcome site if it is opened in https protocol.

Is there a way to kill this feature, or should I just ditch EDGE altogether, and keep on using something else going forward?

    Hello ToldiMiklós,

I am Jaspreet Singh an independent advisor.

Please visit this link in your edge browser edge://flags/#edge-automatic-https

Click on the dropdown infront of Automatic HTTPS and select disabled from the list.

Click on restart button at bottom to restart the browser and see if this fixes your issue.

Thank you, but that is already set as disabled, and it did not fix the issue.
