Unable to cast screen

Hello there!

Recently I wanted to screen share/cast my device to my tv. I attempted to click the 3 dots then I would go under more tools and cast to device. It would show my TV yet it would say "Not available for this site". It's weird though because it literally the home screen of Microsoft Edge and can't cast anything. I attempted to do other stuff yet it won't work. Is there anything I'm missing or Is there something with my TV? Below I have attached a screenshot.

Thanks!!

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

If you play a video on a website, will it allow you to cast from any page such as this?

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

It might work depending on your PC and TV capability, here are the instructions for casting the whole screen. You then would just launch the game as usual.

    Click the Start button.

In the Start Menu, scroll to and click Settings.

The Windows Logo + I key combination will also take you to the Settings screen.

In the Settings window, click Devices.

In the Devices screen, under Bluetooth & other devices, look for your device under the Audio or Other devices listings.

Select the display device you want to connect to.

Note:If the TV connects and displays the Windows screen, then it may be in the Extended Mode.

The Windows Logo + P key combination will take you to the Project screen.

Select Duplicate to view the computer screen on the TV.

The computer screen should now appear on your TV.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
