"Server unresponsive" error when entering CVV for payment auto-fill

For the last week I've been getting an error when trying to confirm my card in the payment auto-fill function in Edge mobile (Android 13, Edge version 109.0.1518.53). At first I thought it was because of the private DNS I have enabled but the issue persists even after turning it off.

Hello, I’m Virginia, a fellow user like yourself.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems.

If you try the default Android browser does the problem still occur?

Did you close all browser windows before disabling VPN? I don’t know if doing this will make a difference.

    Have you restarted the phone?

Is there any firewall/AV software installed?

    Hi, Virginia,

Yes, the issue occurs whether browsing from the system browser (Chrome) or Edge.

In Edge, the same issue occurred whether attempted from standard browser mode or in an InPrivate tab. And it isn't a VPN, but a private DNS server defined in the system settings (Network & Internet > Private DNS > Private DNS provider hostname 'dns.adguard.com')

I have restarted the device and the issue persists.

I don't have any firewall, anti-virus, nor VPN enabled on my device.

    Thanks

    Have you tried with Firefox?
Have you tried a different dns server?
