Upgrading Hyper-V VM OS to create new WIM

Question

I'm looking for the best process to upgrade any Hyper-V VM's I have, when going from one
OS to another. I build my VM's by booting to the LiteTouchPE.ISO with a suspend in the Capture & Build TS.

When I need to upgrade to the next version of 10, what's the best practice to get my VM to that version, without having to rebuild?

Yes, if you're VM is open to Windows Updates from Microsoft Directly, you can go to Windows Update in Settings and if available, install from there.
Or you can download the Windows 10 Media: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

If you're managing with Configuration Manager, you can use a Task Sequence, or Feature Updates.

I don't use SCCM/Config Mgr. I do believe the best way is to have our Network group open the IP of the VM and do Windows Updates to pick up the next OS.
