Could we know if the WF means writer filter? If so, for test purpose, it is recommended that we could troubleshoot on one machine first so that we may considering automating it if the solution works.

We should disable filters before we install the client, and then re-enable the filters again after the client is installed and assigned to a site. Note that when we disable the filters, we should not disable the filter drivers. Typically these drivers are started automatically when the computer starts. Disabling the drivers will either prevent installation of the client, or interfere with write filter orchestration which will cause client operations to fail.
