How to decrease spaces between the icons on favorites bar?

How to decrease spaces between the icons on favorites bar? I was avoiding Edge for this very reason (I was using Firefox), there is not enough options to personalize bookmarks, like adding separators, decreasing spaces or changing the icons; it may seem as a minor problem but for me it is extremely important since well personalized bookmark bar increases my efficiency and comfort.

You're most welcome. I also use Firefox in addition to Edge and Chrome) and the ability to tighten the space between Favorites on Favorites Bar and in Favorites menu is a reason it is my default browser where I need Favorites most.

Unfortunately there's no way to do this yet, but if everyone wanting this will express your opinion on it in the Edge Feedback Hub, it may be included in the future.

To express your opinion on this to Edge Developers you can choose the Edge Hub (three dots to right of URL address bar) then Help & Feedback, then Feedback form to fill out. They will not even see it here.

You can't get them much closer than this:

With them arranged like this, I can get at least 35 icons on the bar, and it's only one extra click to get to a favourite in the folder. If you need more than this, you're out of luck.

Thank you for your answer. I already did that a few days ago, but I'm not sure if that is an important feature for many people. Well, if they won't include that soon, I will just switch back to Firefox.
