Text display error

I have been facing this issue since I started using edge browser

There is a display bug in which text appear as some sign language and its very annoying, This bug only appear on some pages.

Here is the image attached.

I would appreciate your help.

    Many Wikipedia pages (and some others) specify 'generic' fonts for some parts of the page, in this case the one called 'sans-serif'. Edge will use the one configured in your settings, which in your case is clearly not appropriate. Click (Settings and more) > Settings > Appearance and scroll down to Customize fonts. Make your choices here, and be sure to set the Sans-serif font to a common one, like Segoe UI or Arial.

    Resetting settings as you were advised earlier should restore a sensible font here, so long as it's available on your system. It may also change many other things, so it's 'using a sledgehammer to crack a nut'. It would be much better to go to the precise setting and change that to correct a problem.

    Let's try to perform the troubleshooting methods below.

    Method 1: Check for Microsoft Edge Update

    1. Open Microsoft Edge, click the three (3) dots on the upper right corner.
    2. Click Help and feedback on the lower part.
    3. Click About Microsoft Edge.
    4. It will automatically check for update, if not, click the Check for updates button.
    5. Download and install the update, restart your computer once done and check if the issue is fixed.

    Method 2: Repair Microsoft Edge

    1. Press windows key + I to open settings.
    2. Select Apps.
    3. On the left pane select Apps and features.
    4. Look for Microsoft Edge and click it then select Modify.
    5. A windows will pop-up, click Yes.
    6. Click the Repair button, follow the steps on your screen.
