Opening and reading PDF files in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10

I just updated to the latest version of Edge, which I use to easily markup PDF files when I am studying. Now, instead of being able to just drag and highlight in a chosen color, I have to go in each time I select a block of text and right click, then choose the highlighter every single time. Why would you take away something so basic and only required 1 step and make it into 3 steps? How do I get this pinned in the task bar? If there's not a way - please bring it back.

Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
I understand your query regarding Highlight feature in new Microsoft Edge.
I would like to inform that the Highlight feature is under development. However, at the moment this feature is available in Microsoft Edge Canary build. You can expect this feature in the near future update for Microsoft Edge.
If you are interested in our Edge Insider channels**, Edge Canary** version has Highlighter feature enabled for PDF, which you need to download and install separately. You can try and install this side by side with the current stable version of Edge. Please refer this webpage to install Canary Channel: Microsoft Edge Insider Channels
However, we would value your feedback based on your experience using Edge. You can certainly help us improve the features by sharing your feedback. You can Open Microsoft Edge. Click on the Settings & More Ellipsis (…) on the right hand corner and then, select Help & Feedback and select **Send Feedback.**This is one way where our design team will be able to receive feedback, suggestions and ideas from our customers.

There is no undo or redo option. Please add. Also when you use pdf quick print, Edge keeps opening and you select always use and say ok - nothing happens. It asks every time you open a pdf. Also quick print should go directly to printer without selecting print icon, then printer, and then print again. Time consuming....
Highlight should also be on tool bar, please use the kiss option.
