Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Hi everyone,
I have been using Edge chromium since the time it was released. It was the first time I switched from Google
chrome. Everything was working fine till few weeks back. But now whenever I open a new Tab in edge a lot of
random text shows up instead of a proper new tab. I have attached the screenshot of the error.
I tried reinstalling the edge but the problem still persists. Can anyone help me with this problem because I
don't want to switch back to Google Chrome.
Thanks

Hi Satyam_Mehrotra,
Have you tried to reset settings yet? If not, I would like you to reset your settings and see if that solves this. This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history, and saved passwords will not be cleared.

Does Web Push mean anything to you?
Do you have an extension in Edge or software installed related to the link below?

No, I don't even know what "web push" is and I have checked there is no extension or software related to
that.

Hello, my name is Marco and I am an Independent Advisor. I will do my best to help you.
Go do a 'repair' of the edge in the application settings.
To do this:
Right -click on Windows start button and select 'Settings'
Click on ' Apps '
Then, select ' Apps & features ' tab and on the right, search for 'Microsoft Edge'
Click on it and press 'Modify', then click 'repair'.If that doesn't work, check to see if you have spyware that is causing this problem.
I put you below two link of two antimalware to scan your browser and Windows ..AdwCleaner to clean browser: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/
Malwarebytes to clean pc: https://malwarebytes.com/Tell me if it worked.

Hi Marco, thanks for your reply.
I have already repaired Edge multiple times.
I have also installed and tried every AV and EDR including Malwarebytes ADW cleaner, but still I have
the same problem.
