Wrong language in Edge browser

Question

I have set my default language in Microsoft Edge to UK English, with French and US English below this. BUT the language displyed in the Edge browser when I open a new tab is Hebrew! (At least I think it is; it looks like Hebrew & it reads right to left). How do I get English back please? I already have English set as the default in settings, so I cannot see anythintg else I can change.

Thanks - yes I already looked in Bing, it was showing the language setting asEnglish as well. In the end I got some help from IT and it was in a pop out menu on the actual home page; I think it was the menu shown in the screenshot above - I had previously tried scrolling but all the names of the languages were also in Hebrew, but I didn't scroll far enough - quite far down it shows English.

Dear Alami08,I wasn't referring to the language settings inside Edge, but Bing;

Open Edge and access the link:https://www.bing.com/

Click on the three bars (upper right corner of the screen) and go to Settings;

Change the language and region;

Restart the browser and check if the Hebrew language is still displayed;

Thanks, but I already tried this. As I said, the language showing in the settings menu is already English - Hebrew is not mentioned there and has never ever been used as a language in this browser! I had to get something fixed on my laptop by IT in my organisation and this has just suddenly happened. Please see screenshots attached.

I understand that the Edge language is not correct;

Initially I recommend that you try to change the language of Bing;

Open Edge and go to the link:https://www.bing.com/

Click on the three bars (upper right corner of the screen) and go to Settings;

Change the Language and region;

Restart the browser and check if the Hebrew language is still displayed;
