I bought my Surface Studio in order to use the pen full time.

If I can't use the pen on Microsoft Edge, my Surface is a waste.

WOW!!! HELP!!!! How do I get back to the old Edge so I can use my pen?

Hopefully Microsoft will listen to this. Removing the key funcion and reason to buy a Surface in the first place, surely cant be a smart move.

Right now your better off buying a Ipad pro or a Samsung tab with pen and a keyboard than buying a Surface.

Losing the ability to write directly on the page without having to open an app, snip a page and THEN write is really miserable.  Is there a way I can go back to the previous version because I truly don't want this stupid update.

    Hi NutthapongTeeradej,

I'm Paul, a fellow customer like you & an Independent Advisor. It's currently not available in the new Edge Chromium browser, as it's now being separated as an independent app called Snip & Sketch. You may refer to this video below on how to use it.

I hope this helps. Let me know how you go. Thank you!

    Sincerely,

    Paul A.

I installed it, hated it immediately as the reason the surface pro package sells so well is the pen.

Apparently you can't uninstall if it auto downloads, however if you choose to download new edge, you can uninstall.

As mine was auto installed, I couldn't uninstall. So I did a windows recovery to a previous date... which gave me the old edge back.

However, the autodownload will attempt to update again, so you'd need to keep your surface pro on and in sleep mode rather than shutting down when you've finished it.

    Bit embarrassing by Microsoft really.
