Edge android app battery usage

Hi all, been using the edge android app for a couple of days and it's using lots of battery life , about 54% in 1hr 20mins usage which quite frankly is ridiculous , I like the app it's great but this battery life is ridiculous !!! Anyone know a way to sort it ? Thanks

Good day DaveEdgington! I am Independent Advisor Paul R. and I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. My apologies and I understand that you are experiencing battery draining issue in Edge for Android. This looks like to be a known issue and have experienced it as well on my P20 that is on Android 10 and even if the data is cleaned up and no syncing is applied it will still be the same and I would suggest to send a feedback (tap the 3 dots > tap Send feedback) to the dev team that is working on this and hopefully a patch/update will be released soon to address this and again my apologies.
