Microsoft Start Watchlist

Question

I just noticed this change that all of a sudden on the bottom RH Corner of my taskbar the info is all in Chinese and reflects info in Bejing, etc and I have no idea as to how or what changed it .. all the settings are in Chinese of which unfortunately does not help me out...does anyone have any suggestions. When is click on a few icons, it does come up that there appears to be n association with the Microsoft Start Watchlist

Hi,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have encountered the problem that the Windows taskbar information becomes Chinese.

The problem is related to the network connected, the account logged in, and the location of the settings.

You can click the Settings button on the top right - click the second option that pops up (has a location icon) - fill in the location and save it.

Then reopen.

If the above doesn't work, then you can click on the avatar in the news (the screenshot you posted in the post) - click on the line of words below (this will add a new account configuration) - this will jump to Edge, you can try it in Create a new configuration here, then switch to the new configuration

See if this method works.
