I don't use Chrome on this very new PC. I am using Microsoft Edge with Duck-Duck-Go as my browser. I have an Adobe Acrobat Pro account and use Microsoft Outlook as my email client for my Yahoo account and a 365 account. Suddenly realised that if someone sends me a PDF, it pops up in a kind of blocked screen which shows it's blocked by Chromium. Research tells me that Chromium is an extension of Chrome but, as I say, I don't have Chrome and I have trawled the apps and everywhere I can think of but cannot find it on my brand new PC!!

That's already in place William!  Adobe Acrobat DC is already my default for opening PDFs.  Can't come to you immediately as I have a Zoom meeting, but when I have time, I'll send you screen shots of the thumbnails

This should be a simple matter of changing PDFs to open by default with Adobe Acrobat: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/not-defau...

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is William. I'm a Windows technical expert. I'll be happy to help you out today.

The new Edge browser is Chromium based. Like Google Chrome, it is built on the Chromium open-source browser platform and not exclusive to either company. Duck-Duck-Go is your search engine, not browser. As for blocked screen you are referring to, can you provide more details or an image of what you are seeing?

Hi William  you can see here how a PDF opens from an email and I can't do anything with it whereas with an Adobe Pro Account I should be able to edit etc, etc.  It's the same if I have created a PDF myself.  I can sort of turn it off so I can put it on my desktop and then right-click 'remove protection'
