To exclude the account side issue, please try to log in Teams web client(https://teams.microsoft.com) in InPrivate mode in browser and observe the results.
If the two accounts can sign in Teams web client properly, your guess will make sense. Then, clear the client cache by deleting all the files in the following folders as below and try again:
- %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\application cahce\cache
- %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\blob_storage
- %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\cache
- %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\databases
- %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\GPUcache
- %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\IndexedDB
- %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\local storage
- %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\tmp
