Hello Community,

I am having a problem about website apps in Edge.

I have deleted the apps from Edge, but they appear in start and uninstall an application in Control Panel.

I tried deleting the app from start but it does not do anything. I also tried with Control Panel.

    Okay, I understand now what applications you are referring to.

    These apps installed from Edge in this way also need to be removed by Edge, your difficulty is that when you click on Manege app (in the image you showed me) and click on the X to remove the app, then it returns? because this type of application needs to be removed this way, did you do it like this?

    And have you followed the recommendations for Edge updates previously?

    Graciously,

    Hello, I am Claudeir, a user and independent expert, it is very important to me that all your questions are answered and that you have a positive experience.

    -Got it, does this only happen with applications installed from Edge? with another browser does the same thing happen?

    We will reset the Edge settings and also keep everything up to date.

    -Keep everything up to date with the system (right click on start, settings, update and security, check for updates).

    -Now open the Edge, click on the three points in the upper right corner, settings, reset checks. Afterwards, click on the option below, 'About Microsoft Edge' if there is any update pending, it will be done automatically, and you will need to restart your browser.

    If the application is still not uninstalled, perform a clean boot and then uninstall using the control panel:

    -Clean boot:

    Clean boot is used to determine whether a background program is interfering with the system or optimizing system loading.

    For clean boot follow the steps below:

    On the Desktop, simultaneously press the Windows + R keys to open Run;

    In the Run menu, type the command msconfig and click OK to open the System Configuration;

    On the Services tab, check the option Hide all Microsoft services and Click Disable All;

    Click Apply and OK;

    Restart the computer.

    NOTE: This procedure disables all third-party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is solved in this way, selectively enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, instead of keeping all disabled. If the problem returns after activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly in the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.

    If the answer helped in any way, consider leaving your opinion, marking it as answered or leaving more details, so that we can continue the service, this is very important for us.

    Sincerely,

    Claudeir
