Is there any set schedule for rolling out View in File Explorer for Edge? This page (View SharePoint files with File Explorer in Microsoft Edge - SharePoint in Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Docs) indicates Microsoft has decided to continue supporting this critical functionality after Internet Explorer has disappeared. The page instructs a tenant administrator to run the following command:
Set-SPOTenant -ViewInFileExplorerEnabled $true
to enable the function. It is set to $False by default. However, running the command in my tenant yields the following message:
Set-SPOTenant : The requested operation is part of an experimental feature that is not supported in the current environment.
If I run Get-SPOTenant it displays the value for that option as False
The page referenced above states "You may receive this error if this functionality is not supported in your current environment. We are still rolling out functionality to all Production environments and will update this article once worldwide rollout has been completed."
Is there any ETA on when this will be available? Is there a way to request it be made available for our tenant?
