VPN question

I use Microsoft Edge for my browser. There are a couple web sites that I know are legit but they block me when I try to reach them. I can reach them if I use VPN. Why is this happening? I have used these sites in the past and they were fine without a VPN.

That will depend on the decision by either your network provider changes or the website changes. Some websites that donot operate fully legally do require a VPN connection so you may be visiting such websites.

You wont be able to do anything from your end except checking with your onternet provider for a workaround or a solution to this.

Why did this start after being able to connect for many months? Is there anything I can do to correct it? My VPN is a trial only with limited data use available.

Yes websites too can block the connection from a particular region or allow access to only one region (this is adopted by many streaming services for content control) and in your case website is blocking your IP.

The reason the website open with vpn and not normally will be if your network provider has started to block them.
