Problem when validating VM creation

Hello,

Since yesterday, I can't create Azure Virtual machines.

After specifying all the VM details and clicking on "Review & create", my review page hangs in loading with a warning "Experiencing authentication issues" and because of this perpetual loading, I can't click on the button "create".

I use Firefox as browser and I already tried on Edge with or without inPrivate mode and to no avail.

Only using PowerShell, can I create a VM using a quick-start ARM template.

But it's not normal, not being able to deploy VMs through the Azure Portal.

Can you please share which region are you trying to create the VM?
Also, I would recommend trying to create the VM once again.
If it does not work, we would need to get this checked by support engineer. Please open a support request if you have the support plan. If not, send an email to AzCommunity@microsoft.com with your subscription Id and link to this thread. Please include 'Attn: Karishma' in the subject. I will enable a one time support request for you and send you the instructions to open a support request.

So I'm trying to create the VM on the West Europe Region and I already tried creating the VM on others regions for example (France Central, Canada Central and India Central) in order to test if the problem was related to the region but I have always the same result, impossible to create the VM.

My subscription has a support plan, so I can open a support request but under which issue type ?

I tried already with technical and choosing "Virtual machine running Linux" and picking the "general" but none of following propositions corresponded to my situation.

Because of that, I'm asking here in the forum.

I am encountering the same issue yesterday and today after several attempts to create a VM. It hangs with "validation passed" and I get the progress dots on top but 'Create' button is still grayed out.

This problem resolved itself after recreating the VM without boot diagnostics enabled, choosing none for NIC NSG and changing the HDD to standard SSD. Not sure if this was related.
