Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
With the recent update to security on my Windows 10 Desktop (Edge Browser), I am no longer able to access the website for one of my utility companies. I get the message "Due to increased security, your browser is no longer supported on this site. Upgrading to the latest version of Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox or Apple Safari might fix the issue."
I contacted Dell Tech Support who determined that the issue is not my browser or my internet connection. He suggested contacting the utility company and asking them to create a new IP address for my system and the website. Does this sound right? Any suggestions? I can bring up the Website in IE mode but is does not display correctly and doesn't provide a way to logout. Any help would be much appreciated.

Marco: Fortunately, the issue I was having resolved itself today so I did not have to try your remedy. Thanks for the information though.
Hello , sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.
Let's check if it's a DNS problem before the ip problem. And to do this, we will use the google DNS.
Follow these steps.
-Press Windows + R keys and type: NCPA.CPL
-Right-click on the connection for which you want to configure Google Public DNS and select "Properties".
For example: To change the settings for an Ethernet connection, right-click the Ethernet interface and select Properties.
Continue on the link below from step 4

If the site is working now, keep this dns for a few days and go back to the old one (which was checked by default).
If it still doesn't work, you can call your provider to change your DNS AND IP.
