When I right-click a web page in Edge that is written in a non-English language the only option to translate the page is into French even though the preferred language for the browser is English. How do I get the context menu to offer to translate into English rather than French? Thanks.

Hello, my name is Carlos Eduardo and I am an independent expert and I came to help in the best possible way. Follow the guidelines below to try to solve the problem presented.

Method 1 - Resetting the Edge Browser

  1. Open the Settings screen.
  2. Then, in the Applications and Features section, search for Microsoft Edge.
  3. Now click on "Advanced Options".
  4. Select the Reset button.

Note: Windows will reset the Edge browser settings, keeping your Favorites intact, but you may lose other Edge data.

Check if the problem is resolved.

Method 2 - Remove Edge Browser Extension:

  1. Open the Microsoft Edge application.
  2. Click "Settings and more" or press (Alt + X) and click Extensions.
  3. Click on the installed extension (eg "Microsoft Edge Translator") that you want to remove.
  4. Click Uninstall.
  5. Click OK to confirm.

Check if the problem is resolved.
