Managing profiles and sync in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Hello,
My PC crashed some days ago (motherboard damaged), but the PC was already 8 years old.
So I am getting a new PC tomorrow.
On my Surface GO I was able to open all browser-tabs from my old PC (tabs from other devices), so I did not loose them.
On my new PC I am going to open all tabs from the Surface GO, so I will be able to transfer all opened tabs from my old PC to my new one.
But how can I remove my old PC from the sync in Edge?
It is totally damaged (I can no longer boot windows).
Thank you for your help!
OLLI

Yeh that’s right it will completely be removed from your account, which is how Edge syncs accounts devices.

Hello Elise,
when I remove a device from my Microsoft Account, will it then also be removed from the Edge Sync?
