Edge Lost custom browser settings for second time

Overnight Edge lost my custom browser settings for the second time. It has actually reverted to an older set of opening tabs and plugins and this is exactly what happened previously. Favorites etc are still there. I am signed and and syncing and this is universal to my profile as it also happened to my laptop (which did not have any updates to apply).

I lost all settings with the previous update earlier this week.

With this update it appears the settings were retained.

When i say lost settings, i also would loose all identity settings for MFA on the browser

    Hello Solo Compute,

A new version of MS Edge was released yesterday 101.0.1210.53. I'm wondering if you lost you're custom browser settings after this update? To check if you're on this version, enter edge://settings/help in the address bar.

Does it happen after you upgraded to the latest build?

Do you have any third-party Anti-Virus software installed?

Are you syncing with Microsoft Account?

I advise you to file a bug report, have a look at How to Report a Feedback/Bug to Microsoft Edge’s Team? - Microsoft Community.
