What is the fix for "this page has been blocked by microsoft edge"?
The icon is a blank page with one corner turned up.

I get this when reading "My Feed" topics feat at the top of the screen after opening Microsoft Edge.

Hi Ken_TX,

Is your Tracking prevention is set to Strict? If so, change it to balance and see if that solves it.

  1. Click on the three dots menu button.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Click on Privacy, search, and services.
  4. Click on Balanced under Tracking prevention.

Eric

    Hi Guys,

I was able to fix this issue by disabling the tracking prevention option by clicking on lock icon in the address bar (this setting will apply to that specific site only. Same setting can be done from the browser setting but it will effect all sites which in my opinion is not recommended). Hope this helps. :)

Hi. Thx for reply & suggestions.
I did the first one - Resetting Edge - and that had no effect.
Thought they must have made is more difficult than I felt confident trying.
I will try your second suggestion.

Meanwhile, here's the graphic - this one from a Microsoft News article.

Thanks Carlo but resetting Edge is basically a non-starter. So much for EDGE. maybe I'll try it later when M/S gets the bugs out.

    Good Day EllenC45,

My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

Can you please take a screenshot of it for us to have a better visual of that error.

For the meantime here's the steps you can try.

    Reset the Edge

-Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen.

    -Go to Settings

    -Look for Reset Settings

-Click Restore settings to their default values.

(This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.)

    Restart your computer and check.

If issue persists, go to this link below and re-install the Edge browser.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/d...

Download and install the version 92.0.902.55

Once downloaded and installed, restart your computer and check.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
