Microsoft Edge is malicious?

Question

I had to switch to microsoft edge because opera used too much RAM, but my AVG antivirus keeps popping that the "infection" is blocked and asks to scan my pc.
Threat name: URL:Malvertising

Location: C:/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft/Edge/Applications/msedge.exe
Detected by: Web Shield
Status: Connection Aborted
Pretty sure its nothing serious, but surely annoying

If the exact path to that file is C:/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft/Edge/Application/msedge.exe

Your AVG is producing a false positive in the Edge browser executable, you should add MSEdge.exe to the exclusion list in AVG.
