Google interference

I have recently switched to Edge browser but when I click the Edge icon, Google pops up

Microsoft Edge | Other | Windows 11

    There is no "Reset Settings" listed. Also, the google pop up has stopped so may be o.k.

    Reset the browser, to do this click the icon that has three dots in a line ...

    Click settings > Then click Reset Settings > click on “Restore settings to their default values“ > click Reset
