Improving performance and responsiveness of Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Greetings, I'm using Win 11 Home, MS Edge -InPrivate mode with default settings. Edge seems to be in nanny mode (or is just lying or using the wrong error message), possibly inherited from Chromium. I occasionally get "This page was blocked by [MS] Edge." (By the way, I have a Win 10 install using a Dissenter browser (fork of Brave, fork of earlier Chromium.) I do not get the nanny failures with this browser). I have received this notification while attempting to open several different web sites. sometimes, the site opens on successive attempts.
Today, after sitting on my screen for 10-15 sec, the MS Edge page refreshed, and I got all or some portion of the page I was trying to read. I use Strict Tracking Prevention, 0 sites have been reported blocked due to trackers, I use and trust Defender, but see no reason to use SmartScreen, Enhanced Security was set to balanced and turned off. (Yes, I have closed and re-opened MS Edge, rebooted, reset the router, released and renewed ipconfig, etc.) I have not seen the failure when not in -InPrivate mode, but I'm always in -InPrivate just so I can turn Cookies on and have them deleted when I close the browser.
Two questions:
Q1: Instead of getting a message that MS Edge blocked the page, where can I look, or how do I turn on logging, to find out why (nothing useful in the Event Log)?
Q2: How do I turn off nanny mode for both MS Edge and the progenitor: Chromium?
TIA,

In related to the Microsoft Edge blocking page, would you mind take a screenshot and reply to this post and paste it.
There is nothing call Nanny mode; would you mind elaborate more on what you are talking about.
