Hello,

I recently noticed that a "debug" Text Document file is created in every folder when I try to open a pdf. It's not appearing in all folders with pdf, just when I open them now.

I use Microsoft Edge as my pdf viewer.

Is there anything i can do stop this from happening?

Thank you

    Hi folks,

Just a quick update that the team released a fix for this and you shouldn't be seeing this behavior in the most recent version of Microsoft Edge! Thanks for reporting this here and via in-browser feedback, and sorry for the delay in response here.

If you're still seeing the debug file created on the most recent version please let me know =)

mine happens on pdf files when double clicked. If I single click and choose "Open file with.." it doesn't occur.

I changed my default application for .pdf to Chrome Browser, and the issue stopped happening.  Not really a solution, especially if MS wants me to use MSEdge
