Microsoft Edge freezes when switching between different users on Windows 11.

I manage two different companies and have separate user accounts in Windows for each company. Whenever I switch between the user accounts, Microsoft Edge freezes for a significant amount of time before either closing or "snapping out of it" and working normally again.

Yes. The program still hands up when switching users. Please note, I have also recently reinstalled Windows (for another purpose) to no effect.

    Hi GM Mech,

Are you still seeing this problem with the latest version (109.0.1518.70) of Microsoft Edge?

    Hello GM Mech

    Thanks for your reply.

Did it happen recently or always happen. Switch account is the Edge account or system account?

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Hello GM Mech

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Regarding to your information I assume that the Edge will be frozen when you switch account.

Did it happen in every computer you manage? When did it happened. Could you provide the version of system and Edge.

You can search Winver in search bar check the version of your computer, and you can visit this website edge://version/ to check the version

    of your Edge.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
