Message on opening Microsoft edge

When opening Edge on my wife's new Acer laptop (Windows 10) we always get the same message to 'Manage consent preferences'-despite clicking 'accept all' the message continues to appear

There are some (reasonable) items not allowed when the manage preferences list is looked at, but even if all are accepted, again, the message does not go away and appears when next opening Edge.

Any ideas at all?

Thanks

    Good Day IRoss1,

My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

    Reset the Edge

-Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen.

    -Go to Settings

    -Look for Reset Settings

-Click Restore settings to their default values.

(This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.)

Restart your pc and check .

If issue persist re-download the Edge browser.

Once downloaded restart your pc and check.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    With Warm Regards,

    Carlo T.
