Edge taking over Adobe PDF

I've seen thread after thread of this issue. I use Adobe ALL DAY long and literally every 4th or 5th time I edit or print to PDF Edge makes itself the default PDF viewer/editor/printer. I'm so sick and tired of this. I'm losing so much time during the day changing it back to Adobe. How is this so hard for Microsoft to fix???

Hello MBRGFR.COMProposals, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

I understand that you want Adobe Reader as your default PDF reader;

Right-click on any .PDF file;

Select Open with > Choose another app;

Select Adobe Reader and check "Always use this app to open .pdf files;

Now activate the settings to save your settings on restart;

Press Windows key + i and go to Accounts;

Click Input Options;

Scroll down to the Restart apps section and check the options: Automatically save my restartable apps when I sign out and restart them after I sign in" and "Use my sign-in information to finish setting up my device after an update and restart;

Check that the PDF reader is now set to Adobe Reader;

Hope this helps, see you soon!

    Dear MBRGFR.COMProposals,unfortunately there is no way to uninstall Edge, as it comes pre-installed with Windows;

    In this case I recommend that you check if you are updated with the latest version of Windows 10;

    Press Windows key + i and go to Update and Security;

    Click Check for updates and do ALL pending updates;

    Perform a clean boot;

    Press together the keys: Ctrl + Shift + Esc to access the task manager;

    Click on start and disable all programs that start with Windows;

    Repair Edge;

    Press Windows key + i and go to Applications;

    Select Microsoft Edge from the list and click MOdify;

    Click Repair;

    Run the system file checker;

    Press the Windows + X keys, select Command Prompt (Admin), copy and paste the commands below and press enter after each command.

    Sfc /ScanNow

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

    After the process is finished, change the default PDF reader and restart the PC;

    Check if the problem still persists;

    Hope this helps, see you soon!

    I've done this 100+ times on 3 different computers. I can't find another solution for it online. Is there any way to uninstall Edge?
