Hi, it's rather difficult to know when SpyHunter doesn't give the file path. The actual extension which was located at
C:\Users\CurrentUserName\AppData\Local\MicroApp\apps-helper\apps.crx
should be completely removed. If you like, provide a fresh FRST log and I'll see if it shows any residual traces.

This should sort things for you. Disable sync in all Edge and Chrome profiles before running the fixlist.
Download the fixlist linked below to the same folder FRST is in.
Run FRST and press Fix.
When you reply, please post the Fixlog and let me know if the issue is resolved.

Hi, HDome.
I'm sorry to know you're getting this issue.
In order to remove that message, please open CMD as administrator then paste the following commands:
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies" /f
reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies" /f
RD /S /Q "%WinDir%\System32\GroupPolicyUsers"
RD /S /Q "%WinDir%\System32\GroupPolicy"
SECEDIT /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose
GPUPDATE /force
Finally reboot your computer.
If you need anything else, please let me know.
Hi, if you could scan with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST), and share the logs it creates, I'll help you remove it.
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/
Run FRST as administrator, use default settings and press Scan. Two logs are created in the folder that FRST is run from, FRST.txt and Addition.txt. Zip the logs and share on OneDrive, Google Drive or any file sharing service, then post the share link.
* Note: If you are downloading FRST with Edge, smartscreen will initially block it.
Click on the 3 dots next to the warning and select Keep -> Show more -> Keep anyway.
