Edge Profile Notification Dot

Every day Microsoft Edge spams my profile rewards badge image in the upper right hand corner of Edge with a red notification dot which seems to be a notification that Edge wants me to participate in daily questions, etc. to better build their data base profile of me to sell to interested parties.

Is there a way to block this notification permission and disallow this distracting red dot?

Thanks in advance.
