In the Event Viewer, it says the failed module is "ntdll.dll". Even with Administrator mode I cannot replace the dll with an older version.

The browser always crashes almost 1 hour after I lock my computer. How can I fix that?

The Event Viewer says:

Thank you. It's been 2 weeks and I've tried resetting and reinstalling, but the Edge still crashed after running several hours.

The failed module is still "ntdll.dll".

I've searched and learned that the dll is almost the most basic system call library in Windows.

In my labtop running Windows 11, the version of "ntdll.dll" is like 22000.***, and the browser usually crashes too. 😂😂

I want to transfer from chrome/firefox to edge, but the annoying issue just pushes me away....

    Good Day Proprince,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

Here's the stpes you can try.

    Reset the Edge

-Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen.

    -Go to Settings

    -Look for Reset Settings

-Click Restore settings to their default values.

(This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.)

    Restart and check the Edge.

If issue persists, proceed with these steps.

Re-install the Edge using this link below.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/d...

Download and install the version (95.0.1020.40)

    Restart once done and check.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
