Installing or updating Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I see two Microsoft Edge options when I try to change my default browser. What is the problem?
To ensure I ran "get-appxpackage *edge*" command in PowerShell and the result was this:

I am on the latest update and I do not like to see that unknown blue icon. I tried reinstalling edge but did not work.
How can I fix that?
Do this command in a Admin Powershell: Remove-AppxPackage Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_44.19041.1023.0_neutral__8wekyb3d8bbwe :) If that doesn't work reply "It didn't work." If it did work reply "It worked."

Thanks. The older Edge is deprecated. It would be wise to discard this as trying to fix that may end up with more issues. Set Edge as default and forget it.

Hi,
I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor here to assist you.
This is Legacy Edge. Likely showing you due to a glitch. The first one is what you need to select.
Btw, did you install this month's updates which should have removed it?
