Try pressing F7. This toggles the 'caret browsing' state On and Off; you may have got used to the one and accidentally switched to the other.

Why is it that lately I am no longer able to navigate a web page with the UP and DOWN arrow keys on the Edge browser? Even if I use the scroll bar, the page does not move up and down; instead the cursor merely moves from word to word.
I have re-installed the browser but to no avail
Previously, everything worked fine and it is only lately that it is so. Can someone please assist in rectifying the issue?
