Edge Chromium doesn't access LOCALHOST

Hi,

I have been accessing Jupyter Notebook (Python Environment) using EDGE CHROMIUM for months, but suddenly it stopped opening the localhost address.

I found posts from a lot of people with the same problem in Google, but the bigger part of them were old posts (2015~2019).

I tried I lot of solutions and nothing solves the problem.

But the most interesting part is that the address 127.0.0.1 works fine and the Google Chrome opens the LOCALHOST address as usual.

So, I believe that is something related to Edge Chromium Version 92.0.902.84 (Official build) (64-bit).

Any idea?

Regards,

Emanuel Tavares

Hi Emanuel,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Try the steps in the reply posted by Matt on the link below, that should also work for Edge, since it is Chromium based, and substitute edge for chrome in the flags command

    Thanks, DaveM121.

There are two ways to solve the issue and the second one worked.
