Hello

Can anyone tell me whether edge chromium has been removed from the automatic monthly patching cycles please? It was contained in one bundle but have conflicting information it has been removed from this?

yes, it is a separate update.

There are no known issues with installing updates on the stable channel.

I have not experienced any issues with the update procedure even with the Insider builds (pre-release versions) they are small, happen in the background and do not interrupt your work.

Edge will need to be restarted to complete the update but it is not an automatic restart.

Thanks for this.

So it is now a separate update then and I would need to consider turning auto updates on for edge. Are there any known issues with turning edge auto updates on?

Edge updates a separate from Windows updates. new versions of edge are released, roughly, every four weeks.

when an update is available there will be a small green arrow shown to the right of the address bar.

if you open the About Microsoft Edge page, Edge will automatically check for updates

this page will also has the option to prevent updates over metered connections
