I keep getting a banner across the bottom of my laptop when I logon asking me to OPEN, SAVE or CANCEL Imgsync?  It says image8.pubmatic.com.  What is this and how do I get rid of it?  I try canceling it but it shows up again when I logon the next day.

    Click on cancel.

And install a good ad and tracking blocker...

I use and recommend the free extensions uBlock Origin and Ghostery.

Most browsers offer the same or similar extensions...

Also go through your browser's settings and adjust them to your wishes. For example, block 3rd party cookies etc.

I did as you suggested and nothing showed up at all.  It says there were 0 threats.  Any other suggestions?

Hello, my name is Joshua an Independent Advisor for Microsoft Community. Thank you for posting your question, and I would be more than happy to assist you today.

As per checking it shows that the message you are seeing is caused by a "Potentially Unwanted Program" PUP in short, to resolve the issue I advise that you do a "Full Scan" in your Windows Security and remove all the threats that the program will detect. It will also help if you do a full-scan using your 3rd party anti-virus software.

If you have further questions please do not hesitate to reply back.

    Have a great day!

    Regards,

    Joshua
