background in Edge

the background in Edge has not changed in days, no matter which page layout I choose. It's been Lofoten Islands Norway since at least 3-4 days ago! Why? I've tried custom and image or video of the day, etc. I'm using Inspirational now. If this isn't fixable, please say so. I"ll choose one of my own pics.

    Is your Edge working as expected? Hope it's back to normal.

    If you're still unable to automatically change the picture after fixing Edge, then you may really need to send feedback.

    Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you have encountered that the background of the new tab page is set to "Daily Picture/Video" and it has not been automatically changed for a long time, right? Please feel free to correct me if my understanding is wrong.

    I'm sorry you encountered such a problem. This looks like an issue with Edge itself. Since the fixes for this page are very limited, maybe we can try to fix Edge.

    You can in Windows, click Settings >> Apps >> Apps & Features >> Find Edge and click Options on the right >> Modify >> Repair

    Disclaimer: Please back up your favorites and other important data in Edge.

    If Edge still doesn't change the background for you after the fix, please send feedback to Microsoft. Microsoft will check and fix it. At the same time you can temporarily use a custom image as the background.

    In Edge, click Options >> Help and Feedback >> Send Feedback
