As I attempt to type a comment on a post on Facebook it suddenly throws me to the top of the next post without letting me finish or posting my comment. I have MS Edge 11 and Windows 10 installed on my system.

Good day NickK_47! I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. I understand that you are having an issue with regards to posting a comment in Facebook while using MS Edge. Have you tried a different browser? There is a possibility that this might have happened in a coincidence manner and you can also check and try the below and see how it goes.

    Method 1:

    • Try a different browser and monitor if it will be the same

    Method 2:

    • Launch MS Edge
    • Click on the 3 dots
    • Click on Settings
    • Click on Reset settings from the left side
    • Click on Restore settings to their default values and then click on Reset
    • After doing the above check and try it again

    Method 3:

    • You can also try to repair it by Pressing Windows key + I
    • Click on Apps
    • Under Apps & features look for Microsoft Edge and then click on it on and click on Modify and then click on Repair
    • Check and try it again

    Regards,

    Paul R.

    Hello,

Have you tried to comment or make a post somewhere else after this issue happened?

    Some things you can try:

    1. Sign out of Facebook
    2. Close Edge
    3. Start Edge back up
    4. Sign back into Facebook again

If you use any extensions/addons like AdBlock, you can make sure it did not start blocking Facebook completely.
