Edge Lost Features on Update

I upgraded to Version 110.0.1587.63 (Official Build) (64-bit). Now it seems that my Open tabs from the previous session: and Open these pages: in the Startup setting no longer function. I do not have this problem in my backup browser from another manufacturer. I also updated Windows 11 with the 2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022913).

Specifications:

Edition Windows 11 Home

Version 22H2

Installed on ‎10/‎8/‎2022

OS build 22621.1344

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22639.1000.0

What is going on, how do I fix it other than going full time to my backup browser.

Ran both programs. Computer clean. This all started after latest Windows and Edge updates. I know I can roll back the Windows update. How about th Edge update?

I have the same version as you and everything is ok.

Check if it is not an extension that you have that would cause the problem.

Otherwise check if you have no malicious files in your pc with these two software below.

Download the free versions, install and scan.

    AdwCleaner to clean browser: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

    Malwarebytes to clean pc: https://malwarebytes.com/

Nothing worked. now after shutting down and restarting, Edge it's even more erratic. When I started it this morning, my tabs from the previous session loaded correctly. However, all of my tab groups weregone. I re-created the tab groups and make sure the startup option was set to "previous session." On closing and opening, I was now back to Edge opening with just a new page. Is this bizarre behavior due to the Windows update or the edge update that I recently installed? Everything was fine until yesterday. What other information might you need to address this issue?

Hello Richard, sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.

Have you tried an Edge browser repair?

    Here is the procedure.

Make sure that your browser is closed and that you have administrative rights to your device. If multiple users are logged in your device, make sure Microsoft Edge is closed for all users.

Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

In the apps list, select Microsoft Edge and then select Modify. If the Modify command isn't available, it's likely that your organization installed Microsoft Edge and is managing it for you. For help, contact your system administrator.

When prompted Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?, select Yes.

Make sure you're connected to internet and select Repair. Your browser data and settings shouldn't be affected by repair.
