Troubleshooting browser crashes or performance issues on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Since the most recent update of Microsoft edge 9th April-ish, all streaming of videos on YouTube keep freezin I've checked every other component, cleaning disc space turning off Hardwear acceleration etc but nothing has helped, around 7 hous of faffing down the drain. Any advice please?

Hi vicblack1, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.
Have you tried other browsers just to check if the problem only happens with Microsoft Edge?
If the issue is only with Edge, try clearing youtube site data first. To do this, go to Edge Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data. Search YOUTUBE then click the bin icon to remove.
If that didn't help, go to edge://flags and then search "angle graphics backend" then set it to D3D11on12 from the selection.
You can also check other versions of Edge if it is the same
Sure. Just let us know how it goes :)
Hi Paulo, thanks for replying so quickly. I will give that a go first thing in the morning and let you know. Vic
