I have tried this out for myself. I find that the problem only occurs when the text has Chinese characters within it.
The problem therefore is most likely due to the fact that Chinese characters have problems being typeset with Edge's PDF editor.

I can using add text properly as the picture above shows, but when I click other parts of the pdf, this textbox disappears, and I can't see it. However, if I click at the blank it used to be located, it appears again. How to make the textbox remains seen? Thank you!
