    Hello MDN27,

Additional information about this. If you somehow click the Close button(x) of the New Microsoft Edge and to prevent losing all the tabs you open already.

    Click dots (...) then Settings.

On the left side select On Startup

Click "continue where you left off"

This will open again all the tabs you've open earlier.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further concerns.

    Sincerely

Thank you for the answer.  It's disappointing and hopefully microsoft will fix this.  I don't really understand why they have omitted this function from the new edge (which I otherwise  quite like).

    Hi MDN27,

I'm John an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you in this issue and I'll be glad to help you? With regards with your concern.

It doesn't appear to be implemented yet in the new version.

That option is available in Microsoft Edge Legacy(older version)

If you want you can have both Microsoft Edge Legacy and Microsoft Edge Chromium installed.
